108 Yang Long Form Postures

The 108 Yang Form

 

 

 

Part One

1 Prepare
_ Feet together, both arms hang by your sides
2 Beginning the form

_ Right foot step to the right with hands hung by your sides
_ Lift hands
_ Lower hands
_ Circle hands over

3 Grasp sparrows tail
__Shift to the right with the right foot and hold the ball
__Ward off with left arm forwards
__Turn to right double ward off
__Roll and pull down
__Press with both hands
Push with both hands

Sit to rear and push left, both hands

Sit to the and push, right both hands

4 Single Whip

5 Lift Hands
_Roll back pull down
_Elbow and shoulder stroke
_Ward off with the right arm
6 White crane spreads wings
7 Brush left knee and push with right hand

8 Play guitar
9 Brush left knee and push with right hand
10 Brush right knee and push with left hand

11 Brush left knee and push with right hand
12 Play guitar

13 Step forwards deflect-parry punch                                                                                                15 Seal off left hand from right

Double Push
16 Cross hands (completion of part one)

When the Student has finished part one to a basic level part two is then introduced .

Part Two
17 Embrace Tiger and return to Mountain
18 Grasp Sparrows tail
__Shift to to right with left hand up
__Turn brush knee push with left hand on a diagonal line
__Lift right hand double ward off
__Sit back pull down
__Press both hands
__Push both hands
__Sit back push left
__Sit back push right
__Double push hands high
19 Fist under elbow
20 Step back repel monkey right side
21 Step back repel monkey left side
22 Step back repel monkey right side
23 Step back repel monkey left side
24 Step back repel monkey right side
25 Diagonal flying right side
26 Sit back lift hands, forwards
__Sit back roll and pull down
__Elbow and shoulder stroke
__Ward off with right arm
27 White crane spreads wings
28 Brush left knee and push with right hand
29 Needle at sea bottom
30 Fan back through
31 Turn the body and punch
__Punch upwards
__Sit back pull down
32 Step forwards deflect and punch
__Sit back and pull downwards
33 Diagonal flying to the left
34 Step forwards to grasp sparrow’s tail
__Double ward off
__Pull down
__Press
__Push
__Sit back turn and push to the left
__Sit back turn and push to the right
35 Single whip
36 Wave hands in clouds (repeat five times)
37 Single whip
38 High pat on horse
39 Separate and kick out with the right foot
40 Separate and kick out with the left foot
41 Turn and kick out with left heel
42 Brush knee left and push with right hand
43 Brush knee right and push left hand
44 Step forwards and punch low
45 Turn and punch
__Punch upwards and pull down
46 Step forwards deflect and punch
47 Diagonal flying left
48 Kick out with right heel
__Double push to the right
49 Turn and strike the Tiger left
50 Turn and strike the Tiger right
51 Shift into the left, left arm deflection and kick out with right heel
52 Double punch to the ears
53 Kick with heel left foot
54 Turn and kick out with right heel
__Pull downwards to the left
55 Step forwards deflect and punch
56 Seal tightly, lift left hand off right arm
57 Cross hands (completion of part two)

On completion of the second section the third and final part is then introduced. Many postures in section one and two are repeated in section three, these are as follows.

Part Three

58 Embrace Tiger and return to Mountain
59 Grasp Sparrows tail
__Shift to to right with left hand up
__Turn brush knee push with left hand on a diagonal line
__Lift right hand double ward off
__Sit back pull down
__Press both hands
__Push both hands
__Sit back push left
__Sit back push right
60 Single whip on a diagonal line
61 Part the wild horse mane right
62 Part the wild horse mane left

64 Grasp Sparrows tail
__Lift right hand double ward off

65 Single whip
66 Four corners Lady threads shuttles left

72 Wave hands in clouds
__Repeat four steps and end on the right

74 Snakes creeps down
75 Golden rooster stands on one leg left

77 Step back repel monkey right
78 Step back repel monkey left
79 Step back repel monkey right
80 Diagonal flying right
81 Lift hands

90 Single whip
91 Wave hands like clouds Repeat three steps

93 High pat on horse
94 Thrust hand left
95 Turn the body and kick out with the heel right foot
96 Step forwards and punch down
97 Diagonal flying left side
98 Step forwards into Grasp sparrows tail
__Double ward off

100 Snakes creeps down
101 Step up and punch into seven stars
102 Step back and ride the tiger
103 Turn to sweep lotus kick right leg
104 Bend the bow and shoot the tiger
